Q: Hello What are the possibilities for you guy's to create a Linux daemon for Phoenix? This is a pretty common thing done by other game publishers and I`d really love to just start phoenix, connect to my standalone server and play with my friends. I see this as an advantage over other simulators since users will have allot of different servers in their area running non-stop. The community will take advantage of this and more people will buy Phoenix. Making a server like this shouldn't be to much work if cheating possibilities is not considered at first. Who`d want to cheat in simulator flight? All I ask for is some effort in making the daemon, protocol source code or release protocol documentation. I`m even considering figuring out the protocol myself, but I don`t think one of your developers would mind doing something "new" and different by making this daemon. As a nice customer I am, I`m writing this mail before starting a community-petition. I pass my transmitter over to your hands and hope you land the heli on its feets. Have a nice day, regards. A: Dear Sir Thank you for your email. We are currently developing a dedicated server application for Phoenix, though this will be for the Windows operating system. We have forwarded your request to our programming team, though at the present time we do not have any plans to produce a linux version. Best Regards Phoenix Support
